The Brussels Film Festival presents
14 days of European cinema
In view of the withdrawal of subsidies for the BRUSSELS FILM FESTIVAL, the 15th edition will unfortunately not take place as usual. No competition, fewer guests, fewer professionals meetings...
However, the Festival is the last place and moment of the year where the Belgian audience can discover films from the four corners of Europe. It’s important to defend and support it so that Brussels remains a place of cultural diversity.
Refusing to give up and motivated by all the expressions of support, director Ivan Corbisier has wanted to offer a special edition to the public: 14 days of European cinema throughout a series of events taking place from the 10th till the 23d of June 2017, at the Place Sainte-Croix, in Cinematek, in the Théâtre 140 and in White Cinema. What’s on? Films, master classes, workshops, various guests and unforgettable meetings. Let’s celebrate European cinema!
